Welcome to the official web page of the Castillo Knights, Costa Rica´s only ice hockey team.
We play ice hockey at the Castillo Country Club's ice rink which was installed in 1982 and is the only ice skating rink in Central America. Costa Rica is not well known for its winter sports teams but this country has been represented in several Winter Olympic Games with its downhill skiing team.
The legendary exploits of the Jamaican Bobsled team at the 88 Olympics in Calgary is also worth mentioning. We hope that you will enjoy our web page as you learn about how the coolest game in the world has developed in our tropical country. We invite hockey players, coaches and fans from other countries to get in touch with us and to visit us when they are on vacation here.
